Honaker got 13 points from freshman Tara Deel, 11 from senior Leah Elswick and a double-double from senior post Megan Meade, who finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.

Back-to-back 3s from Madison Musick and Elswick gave the Tigers the lead for good midway through the third period.

Honaker was without injured starters Laken Robinette and Madison Miller.

Morgan Hall recorded 26 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for Grundy.

Honaker and Twin Valley will compete at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29 at Hurley High School for the tournament crown.
