Council 48, John Battle 44

Josh Viers led a quiet, but efficient run in the fourth quarter to lead the Cobras to a consolation round win.

Viers scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half and led Council on an extended 11-2, game-ending run that covered the final seven minutes.

Zach Tiller scored 17 points, 10 of them on five of Viers' six assists and tied the game at 44-44 on a basket inside with 4:09 remaining. A

Lucas Barton free throw broke the tie for Council (3-2) with 2:48 remaining. John Battle didn't score on its final five possessions and was just 2-of-10 from the field in the fourth quarter.

Brandon Clark scored 10 points and Duane Harris added nine for the Trojans.
