Honaker 69, Chilhowie 52

The Honaker Tigers started quickly and never let up as they rolled to a 69-52 win over Chilhowie. The Warriors took a 5-2 lead at the start of the game, Honaker then went on a 9-0 run. The Tigers controlled the game from that point.

"I thought we played well," Honaker coach Marcus Dunham said. "I'll go on record as saying that was our best game in my four years here. We worked on defense in practice for an hour yesterday and I was pleased with our defensive effort tonight."

Randy Horton led all scorers with 19 points. Hunter Lester (15), Casey Dye (10) and Austin Ray (10) contributed as well.
