NARROWS, Va. — John Shelor scored 25 points to lead Giles to a 69-59 win over Narrows in the Narrows Athletic Fund Christmas Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Shelor earned tourney MVP honors, and was joined on the all-tournament team by teammate Trenton Ray, who scored 14 points for the Spartans.

Charlie Stephens added 13 for Giles, while Kory Wilson made it four Spartans in double figures with 11.

Chandler Burton led Narrows with 21 points, while Rodney Perdue added 14. Burton also earned all-tournament honors.

Giles improved to 4-1, while Narrows (7-1) lost for the first time this season and will return to the court on Jan. 3 against Bland County.
