COVINGTON, Va. -- Quinton Hunter scored 18 points, Raquann Matthews had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Jordan Miller added 13 points as the Cougars defeated the Bears in an opening round Conference 45 tournament game.
Mason Christian netted 10 points for Bland County.
Covington will play the Narrows Thursday at Eastern Mongomery in a semifinal matchup.
