COVINGTON, Va. -- Sa'Mone Moore scored her 2,000th career point in leading the Cougars to a Conference 45 first round win over the Bears.
Moore had 32 points followed by Kayla Campbell with 13 points and Leteashia Clarke with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Marlee Lambert scored 11 points for Bland County.
Covington will play Narrows Wednesday at Eastern Montgomery in a semi-finals game.
