NARROWS, Va. — Tanisha Flinchum canned four 3s and finished with 22 points, and Giles went on the road and defeated archrival Narrows 61-50 on Friday night at Narrows High School.
Karli Beechler added 13 points for the Spartans, while Kelsey Mosley tallied 11. Giles outscored the Green Wave 36-23 in the second half.
Freshman Maggie Guynn continued her torrid start to the season, scoring 33 of Narrows’ 50 points.
Narrows (4-1) will host Radford on Monday.
