RICHLANDS, Va. — The Tazewell Bulldogs sank eight 3-pointers, from five shooters, but could not keep up with the Lebanon Pioneers, who placed four players in double-figure scoring in a Southwest District Tournament game on Saturday evening at Richlands Middle School.
Lebanon led 46-26 at halftime, but Tazewell kept plugging away, outscoring the Pioneers by nine points in the final period.
Juwan Jordan led Tazewell with 14 points and Nick Elkins added 11. Austin Bollinger paced the Pioneers with 24 points.
Tazewell (0-7) plays Monday at Grundy.
