SHADY SPRING — Aaron Ferguson scored 34 points to lead Princeton to a season-opening 63-54 win at Shady Spring on Tuesday night.
Shady Spring rallied from a 13-point deficit to force the extra period, but the Tigers outscored Shady’s Tigers 12-3 in overtime.
Logan McKinney added 11 points for Princeton.
Steven Chhabra led Shady Spring with 18 points, while John Sawyers and Tyler Bonds added 11 points apiece.
Princeton visits Bluefield on Thursday, while Shady Spring travels to Summers County.
