ROCKY GAP, Va. — The Bland County Lady Bears broke through for their first win of the new season Tuesday evening, pulling away from Eastern Montgomery 54-45.
Malee Lambert led the way with 16 points, five steals and five assists for BCHS, while Lindsey Watters had eight points and seven rebounds.
Dakota Shepherd topped all scorers with 20 points for the Mustangs.
The Lady Bears (1-2) play Radford on Friday night at home.
