NEW CASTLE, Va. — Apparently Maggie Guynn is an early candidate for the first Player of the Week for the 2014-15 basketball season.
The Narrows senior, who had 12 points in a win on Monday, added 34 on Wednesday, along wiht 10 rebounds, 10 steals and four assists in a 77-59 win at Craig County. She also made 12-of-13 free throw attempts.
Narrows (2-0), which forced 30 steals and made 30-of-42 from the charity stripe, also received 12 points, six steals and four assists by Peyton Carter. She was 6-for-7 from the free throw line.
Savannah Looney led the Rockets with 17 points, while Tierreny Zysk added 16.
Narrows will visit Auburn on Tuesday.
