PEARISBURG, Va. — Karli Beechler scored 16 points and Emily Santolla canned 15, leading the Spartans past the G-Girls.

Giles overcame Graham’s 28-point second quarter by outscoring the G-Girls 47-26 in the second half.

Kiersten Shrader added 14 points for Giles.

Lexi Kiser, who was named to the Virginia High all-tournament team last week in Bristol, led Graham with 24 points. Casey Spencer tossed in 15.

Giles will play Craig County on Thursday in a tournament at Narrows at 6 p.m. The Green Wave and Auburn will play the second game.

Giles also played on Monday, winning at James River, led by Kelsey Mosley with 15 points and 12 for Shrader.

Graham plays at Bluefield on Thursday.

Graham won the JV game 42-25, led by Carly Moretto with 18 points. Amanda Stroupe added 12.
