PikeView claims Mercer County tilt from Tigerettes

PRINCETON — The PikeView Panthers held off the Princeton Tigerettes in the second half on Saturday to take a 48-44 victory, their sixth win in seven games.
PikeView (6-1) led 27-17 at intermission and fought off the home team’s comeback try.
Madison May led the Panthers with 15 points, and had three assists. Courtney White had 11 rebounds and 11 points. Lyndsay Hatfield added eight rebounds.
Kaleigh Barker had nine rebounds and 18 points for Princeton, going 8 of 9 from the free throw line. Taylor Hamm had five assists and Danielle Hall had three rebounds and two assists. Adrianna Mitchem has five rebounds and Brittany Long collected three.
PikeView’s next home game is Jan. 6 against Westside. Princeton (2-4) plays at Huntington next Saturday.
