NEW RICHMOND — Class AA No. 2 Wyoming East warmed up for its matchup with top-ranked Bluefield with a 83-48 rout of the Golden Knights.
Josh Tunstalle connected on three of the Warriors’ 10 3s, as Wyoming East took a 27-7 lead after one quarter, and 48-22 at the break.
Marcus Schofield added 18 points for the Warriors.
Antoine Calloway paced Mount View with 17 points, while Maurice Brown added 11 and Tayshaun Vineyard tossed in 10.
Wyoming East will travel to face the top-ranked Beavers on Friday at Bluefield State. Tipoff is slated for around 7 p.m.
Mount View will visit Westside next Tuesday.
