BRADSHAW — Katie Dobbs scored 17 points and pulled down 16 rebounds, and River View crushed Independence 61-2 on Tuesday night, missing by a single first quarter field goal from a rare basketball shutout.
Paige Cooper added 14 points and seven steals for River View, while Kiersten Dority had 10 points, eight rebounds and five steals in what was her senior night. Becca Christian tossed in nine points and had five steals.
Independence, which shot less than 15 shots in the game, according to River View coach Gehrig Justice, scored two points in the first quarter on a basket by Jasmine Ball. The Patriots have had scoring outputs this season of 2, 4, 6, 7 and 9 points.
River View (11-5) will visit Midland Trail on Friday.
