INDSIDE — Caleb Spencer canned five 3s to finish with 29 points, leading James Monroe to a 79-55 win over Nicholas County on Friday night.
Dakota Copenhaver added 21 points for James Monroe (4-12), which will play at Mount View tonight. The Mavericks finished with seven 3s, including two by Landon Shires, who had eight points.
Nicholas County (3-13), which canned eight 3s, was paced by Jacob Grose with 17 points and Nathan Stewart with 13.
Copenhaver added 10 rebounds for James Monroe.
