Graham boys 84, Giles 58

PEARISBURG, Va. — The Graham G-Men increased their winning streak to eight on Monday night at Giles High School. The G-Men used a 21-point second quarter to increase their lead from three points to 37-24 at the break.

The top scorer for both teams had 17 points. For Graham (18-2) that was Colby Hill, who also had four rebounds and three blocks. Thomas Clarke added 16 points and four steals, while Roman Workman provided 13 points, five rebounds and four steals.

Tony Hood generated six of Graham’s 16 assists and made four steals. Garrett Dalton had six rebounds for the G-Men and Tanner Miller added five.

Senior Trenton Ray made three triples on his way to 17 points for Giles. Chase Journell tallied 13 points and Dakoda Shrader added 11.

From the foul line, the G-Men were 23 for 28. Giles made 19 of 35 free throws.

Graham hosts Galax tonight on Senior Night.
