COAL CITY — Summers County placed five players in double figures and remained perfect this season at 7-0.
Brittney Justice had 35 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for the Lady Bobcats, while Hannah Taylor also had a double-double with 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
Tiffani Cline scored 16 points, Whittney Justice added 15 points to go along with 13 assists and eight steals and Jordan Sigman had 14 points.
Chloe Layne led Independence with 12 and Nicole Kester added 11.
Summers County travels to Woodrow Wilson Wednesday.
