NARROWS, Va. — The Narrows Lady Wave rang in a new year of competition on Monday by defeating county rival Giles 69-57 in the NHS gym.
Maggie Guynn rang up 34 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals for Narrows (8-1). Raegan Franklin claimed a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. Lindsey Kast contributed seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Giles’ Mattie Vangelos dropped in three 3-pointers en route to 17 points. Kiersten Shrader and Haley Kirk also reached double-figure scoring.
Narrows stays home on Wednesday to take on Bland County.
