LINDSIDE — Dominic Lewis scored 24 points to lead James Monroe to a 6-1 start to the season with a 65-60 win over Independence on Tuesday night.
Landon Shires added 14 points for James Monroe, while Caleb Spencer had 10. Tyler Haga paced the Patriots (5-3) with 18 points. Logan Kelly canned 12 and Kyle Saunders added 11.
James Monroe will visit Mount View on Friday.
