TAZEWELL, Va. — The Lady Bulldogs opened their season in victorious fashion with a win over the visiting Lady Bears.

Taylor Catron led Tazewell with 13 points, 9 steals and 4 assits. Katie Snapp added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals.

Kelsey Dinger and Alyssa Farris each had 8 points to lead Bland County (0-1).

Tazewell visits Oak Hill Academy Thursday at 5:30 p.m before hosting Grundy on Friday.
