MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Daniel Boothe scored 19 points to lead Mercer Christian to a 55-37 NCSAA Division 4 National Championship quarterfinal victory over Calvery Baptist Christian, Pa. on Thursday afternoon.
Chandler Scott added nine points for Mercer Christian, while Jacob Dove added eight.
Mercer Christian (25-10) will meet Calvary Temple from Virginia today at noon in the semifinals.

Mercer Christian 49, Seeds of Faith Christian, Pa. 15: Kennedy Pugh scored 12 points to lead the Cavaliers to a quarterfinal win in the Division 4 NCSSAA National Tournament in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Kenzie Bailey added eight points for the Cavaliers, who received at least two points from 10 different players.
Mercer Christian (11-9) will face Plants & Pillars, Pa., today in the semifinals. Tipoff is slated for 10:30 a.m.
