PILGRIM’S KNOB, Va. — The Richlands Lady Blues concluded their regular season with a 59-49 win at Twin Valley on Saturday night.
Brittany Allen led Richlands (14-8, 5-3 Southwest District) with 29 points, six rebounds and four assists, making five three-pointers.
Rachel Alley posted a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Jordyn Cole contributed seven rebounds and Cassie Richardson dished out 11 assists. Mackenley Davis scored 10 points.
The Lady Blues led 19-9 after the first quarter but trailed 28-25 at the half. Richlands then limited their hosts to 21 second-half points while scoring 34.
Rachel Horn paced the Panthers’ scoring with 20 points and Emily McClana-han added 10.
Each team made seven treys.
Richlands will be on its home court to play Tazewell at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the SWD tournament.
