PRINCETON — Playing in their first varsity high school games, Kenny Shrewsbury and Jonathan Easter scored 26 and 18 points respectively to lead the Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers to a 58-50 season-opening win over Morgantown Christian on the MCA campus.
Easter had the Cavaliers’ only three-pointers, sinking three. Jimmy Peters had five threes for Morgantown and ended with 19 points.
MCA hosts Montcalm on Tuesday night.
