PRINCETON — Ryan Meadows scored 17 first half points and Princeton sprinted to a 74-56 win over PikeView Tuesday night.
Hunter Walters helped give the Tigers a working lead with a trio of consecutive three-pointers early in the second period.
Princeton led 41-28 at the break.
In the second half, PikeView cut the deficit to 11 on two occasions, but each time Princeton responded. The Tigers scored the last eight points in the third quarter and led 61-44 after three periods.
Meadows led all scorers with 25, Walters added 15 and David Brewster had 12.
For PikeView, 11-10, Will Webster paced the attack with 18. He was joined in double figures by Tyler Ruble with 12 and David Keen with 10.
Princeton, 12-8, travels to Spring Valley Wednesday night to close its regular season in an Mountain State Athletic Conference fourth place game.
PikeView will play River View in the Class AA, Region 3, Section 2 quarterfinals on Saturday at Princeton High School. The third of three games is slated to begin at 8 p.m.
