GARDNER — Eleven different PikeView players scored as the Lady Panthers cruised by Shady Spring in their opener Thursday night.
PikeView built a 20-6 lead after one quarter and extended it to 40-19 at the break. The Panthers held Tigers to single digits in both the third and fourth quarters.
Jennifer Taylor led the way with 14 points. Danielle Compton nearly added a double-double with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Lyndsay Hatfield added 9 points and 14 boards while Hope Nester finished with 9 points, 7 assists, 6 steals and 4 rebounds.
PikeView hosts Westside in a regional co-final rematch on Wednesday.
