MAX MEADOWS, Va. — The Graham G-Men held on down the stretch and beat Auburn 56-53 on Saturday evening in the fifth-place game of the First Bank of Virginia Christmas Tournament at Fort Chiswell High School.
Tony Hood and Spencer Sheets each dropped in 17 points for Graham (7-3), which took its second three-point win in two nights at the tourney.
Hood had four assists while Sheets had five rebounds and four steals. Colby Hill added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Graham plays Friday at Galax in its first district game of the season.
