BRISTOL, Va. _ Tazewell defeated Eastside 62-37 to win their second of three games at the Borderline Classic at the Bearcat Den.
Tazewell led 17-6 after the first quarter and 37-12 at the break to even its record at 3-3 on the season.
Taylor Catron had 11 points, six assists and four steals for Tazewell, while Whitney Saunders added 22 points, including six 3s, and four steals. Haley Bradshaw contributed seven rebounds and Autumn Hash pulled down five. Haley Christian scored 10 points.
Eastside was led by Erin Stanley with 13 points.
