Mount View 39, Montcalm 20

MONTCALM — Jordan Younger fired in 15 and Ashleigh Belfiore 11 to lead the Mount View Lady Knights to a 39-20 win over the Montcalm Lady Generals in the season- opening contest for both teams.
Mount View led by four at halftime 16-12 and was on top 27-18 before outscoring Montcalm 122 in the fourth period.
Miranda Kendrick led the Lady Generals with 10 points.
Montcalm returns to the floor Tuesday when it hosts Greater Beckley Christian.
