ST. ALBANS — The Princeton Tigerettes held off the St. Albans Red Dragons in the final period to claim a 52-49 Mountain State Athletic Conference victory on Tuesday evening in the Kanawha Valley.
Princeton connected on six three-point shots, three each by McKenzie Akers and Hannah Preservati. Akers led all scorers with 20 points.
The Tigerettes led 29-28 at halftime and held a 42-37 lead going into the final period.
Princeton will play at George Washington High School on Thursday.
