NEW RICHMOND — In a game that featured a combined 50 points in the fourth quarter, the Wyoming East Warriors defeated the Oak Hill Red Devils 70-64 on Friday night.
Austin Canada paced the Warriors (9-2) with 21 points, followed by 18 from Josh Tunstalle and 16 by Brett Bowling.
Oak Hill (2-8) made 21 field goals in the game, and 10 were three-pointers, spread among six players. Joey Re led the Red Devils with 18 points.
The Warriors led by 33-23 at halftime, but the visitors closed the gap to 44-40 going into the final period. Oak Hill hit a three at the buzzer for the final six-point margin.
Wyoming East plays at Shady Spring on Tuesday.
