PRINCETON — Pipestem Christian Academy took a short trip through Mercer County to the Mercer Christian Academy gym and sailed to a 68-34 win on Monday night.
Aleks Lane scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the visitors, who led 47-14 at intermission. Michael Young also had 10 rebounds for Pipestem (6-2), and Austin Peyton added 13 points.
Mercer Christian got 11 points from Jonathan Easter, who nailed the Cavaliers’ two three-pointers.
Aleks Lane and Michael Young each had 10 rebounds.
Pipestem hosts its New Year’s Invitational Holiday Tournament beginning Dec. 29, playing Mountain State Christian from Culloden in the first round.
