ONA_McKenzie Akers poured in 31 points to lead Princeton over Cabell Midland 58-55 in the season opener for the Tigers on Friday Night.
Kendria Perkins added eight points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Tigers.
Emily Harbour also had a big night for Cabell Midland, scoring 29 points in the loss.
Princeton won the JV game 53-44, placing three scorers in double-figures — Miranda Wimmer (17), Ashley Cullicerto (14) and Brandy Snow (10).
Princeton (1-0) hosts St. Albans on Tuesday.
