PRINCETON — J.J. Easter and Caleb Janning combined for 48 points to pace the Cavaliers (13-8) on Monday at the MCA gym. Mercer Christian held their visitors to 10 points in each of the first three quarters, and led 30-20 at halftime.
Allen Jones had 14 points and Levi Nichols had 10 for Appalachian Christian.
The Cavaliers will hold their alumni game at 7 p.m. on Friday night.
Players are expected back from the 1982 team. Next week, MCA will compete in the West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA) tournament in Bradley.
