WELCH — The Mount View Golden Knight girls' and boys' basketball teams celebrated Senior Night last evening with a pair of wins over Van.
In the nightcap, the boys never trailed, taking a 24-7 lead after one and moving into a 45-19 advantage at the half enroute to a 75-43 decision.
Seniors Maurice Brown and Antoine Calloway led the View offensive assault with 20 and 14 points respectively.
Brown tracked down 11 rebounds to help the Golden Knights hold a 44-19 margin in that statistic. Calloway knocked down five- of-six shots from the field, including all four of his three-point attempts.
For the Golden Knights, 12 of 14 players scored, including all seven seniors.
Brandon Elswick took game scoring honors, tossing in 21 for the Bulldogs, while Logan Crouse added 10.
The Knights, now 12-5, will travel to Man Friday night.
