ONA — McKenzie Akers scored 24 points and dished out five assists, leading the Tigers to a Mountain State Athletic Conference tournament win on Thursday night.
The win clinched third place in the MSAC for the Tigerettes.
Marissa Mullins added 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Princeton.
Hannah Preservati contributed eight points, eight boards and three assists.
Mullins had three of Princeton’s eight 3s.
Sierra Jordan led the Knights (16-6) with 28 points, while Emily Pitkin added 12.
Princeton (17-4) will begin sectional play on Wednesday against Woodrow Wilson in Fayetteville.
