SUMMERSVILLE — The Pipestem Christian School Panthers advanced to the WVCA Tournament championship game, defeating Teays Valley Christian in Friday’s semifinals.
Aleks Lane led the Panthers with 17, Austin Payton added 17, Trevor Shorter 13 and Zayne Worley 10. Elias Beacon led Teays Valley with 16.
Pipestem will play the winner of the Cross Lanes Christian and Greater Beckley Christian for the championship this afternoon. The Cross Lanes-Greater Beckley game was underway late Friday night.
