TAZEWELL, Va. — Shannon Stewart scored 18 points to lead Christiansburg to a 51-48 win over Tazewell on Tuesday night.
Whitney Saunders led Tazewell (5-4) with 12 points. Haley Christian and Autumn Hash added 11 each. Christian also had eight rebounds, and Taylor Catron dished out five assists to go with seven points.
Tara McCoy added 17 for Christiansburg (7-1), which held the Bulldogs to five fourth quarter points to rally from a 43-39 deficit entering the final period.
Tazewell will travel to Bland on Jan. 2
