LINDSIDE — Dakota Thomas put the ball up from under the basket for a buzzer-beater to win the game for the Bobcats. It was their only field goal of the fourth quarter.

James Monroe was down by 11 points in the second half, but tied the game 61-61 with 16 seconds left when Caleb Spencer hit his fifth 3-pointer of the contest.

Matt Ryan led the Bobcats (8-10) with 20 points. Ashton Garten added 16, Thomas had 13 points and Jacob Lively tossed in 11.

Spencer topped James Monroe’s scoring with 18 points and Rasheed Lowe added nine.

James Monroe (1-16) plays at Independence on Wednesday and then begins tournament play on Friday at Mount View.
