CHARMCO — James Monroe jumped out to a 35-10 halftime lead and went on to capture its first win of the season 66-27 over Greenbrier West on Wednesday night.
Makala Moran led the Lady Mavericks with 15 points, while Megan Bailey and Sydney Ballard added 11 points apiece.
Bailee Jackson also scored 10 points for James Monroe.
Hope Boone led the Lady Cavaliers with eight points and Amber Nutter had eight rebounds.
Greenbrier West (3-4) hosts Meadow Bridge tonight.
