BRUSHFORK — The Bluefield Lady Beavers improved to 7-2 with a 75-53 win over the Mount View Lady Knights, Thursday night at the Brushfork Armory.
Four Bluefield players scored in double figures, led by Essence Brown and Dani Janutolo who scored 19 apiece. Jia Coppola added 18 and Jessica Hayden tossed in 14.
Mount View’s Keisha Johnson, the reigning Pocahontas Coal Association/Bluefield Daily Telegraph Player of the Week had a game-high 23 and Jasmine Lash added 11.
Bluefield takes on Graham, Saturday night, while Mount View is off until Jan. 23 when they face James Monroe.
