MARION, Va. — Lexi Boyd scored 18 points and Cassie Keene added 14, leading Grundy past Marion 66-58 in a Southern Empire Conference (39) girls quarterfinal on Friday night at the Hurricane House.
Margaret Wagner paced Marion with a game-high 26 points.
Grundy will play Graham in the Conference 39 semifinals, which are tentatively set for Tuesday at Tazewell Middle School.
