WELCH — The Lady Beavers, ranked ninth in the new state girls poll, ran out to a 30-15 lead at halftime and took a win on the Ergie Smith Court.
Dani Janutolio paced Bluefield (10-3) with 24 points. Autumn Spangler and Alyssa Lester each had 10. For the Lady Knights, Kaitlyn Gillespie scored 23 points.
Bluefield’s next game is next Monday in an exhibition tournament at Fairmont against Lincoln, the No. 4 team in the state.
