CLEAR FORK — Bluefield out scored Westside 23-11 in the second quarter and held off a furious Westside charge in the final period to knock off the Renegades 66-63 Friday.
Mookie Collier led the Beavers with 17 points and Jeremy Thompson added 13.
Donta' Hopkins scored 12 and Devin Goins had 10 for the Beavers.
Larry Cook dropped in a game-high 22 for the Renegades, while Jacob Ellis scored 21 and Shane Jenkins added 16.
Westside (3-6) hosts Greater Beckley Christian Tuesday and Bluefield (7-3) travels to meet Fairmont Senior Monday.
