MAX MEADOWS, Va. — Fort Chiswell jumped out to a 24-9 lead after eight minutes and sailed past PikeView despite Madison May’s 31 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Panthers.
Hannah Smith had 11 rebounds, two steals and a block for PikeView (6-8). Ashley Scott had four rebounds, two steals, two blocks and four assists. Brittany Moore had four rebounds, two steals and two assists.
Savannah Dunford had 25 points and Sadie Smith had 22 for the Pioneers, who made nine 3-point goals.
PikeView travels to Lindside on Wednesday to play James Monroe at 7 p.m.
