BRADSHAW — The James Monroe Lady Mavericks outscored the River View Raiders 26-8 in the third quarter on Saturday and claimed a 54-35 win in McDowell County.
Kelsie Mann scored 14 points while Laine Shiflet had 11 and Jordan Page had 10 for James Monroe, which led at halftime 16-10.
Chelsey Dobbs led River View with 16 points, 14 rebounds and six steals. Kiersten Dority chipped in 12 points.
River View plays at Mountain Mission today, part of a stretch of eight games in nine days prior to starting the postseason.
