GRUNDY, Va. — Duty served.
Ethan Duty scored 13 points, and five Grundy scorers reached double figures, as the Golden Wave defeated the Tigers.
Jordan McCoy (15), Wes Peck (13), Charles McCoy (11) and Baylen Dillow (11) also paced Grundy. Peck added 10 assists.
Haysi was led by Hunter Sutherland with 25 points, while Drake Howell had 13 and Gauge Hill canned 12.
Grundy (8-8) will play Honaker in the BDD tournament championship game tonight in Hurley if the weather cooperates. If not, the Golden Wave will play the Tigers on Friday in regular season play.
