GRUNDY, Va. — In a play-in game for the Black Diamond District Basketball Tournament, the Grundy Golden Wave got 21 points from Jordan McCoy, 12 from Ethan Duty and 11 from Charles McCoy and beat the Counci Cobras 65-39, Monday night.
Luke Barton led Council with 19 points.
Grundy plays Haysi in the semifinals, Friday at Twin Valley.
