Hurley 50, Council 44 (OT)
HURLEY, Va. — Council tied the game at the end of regulation with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Luke Barton, but did not score again as Hurley took the win on Parents’ Night.
Zack Lester and Josh Mullins led the way for Hurley (4-14) with 14 and 13 points respectively.
Barton was Council’s only double-figure scorer with 17 points. Nate Barton his three of the Cobras’ five 3-pointers for nine points.
The Rebels will stay at home on Tuesday, playing Honaker.
