NARROWS, Va. — Megan Bailey scored 24 points, and also added eight rebounds and four steals, leading James Monroe to a 64-28 opening round win in the Narrows Athletic Fund Christmas Tournament on Thursday night.
Gracie Mann added 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds for the Mavericks (3-3), who will play Princeton for the tourney championship on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Giles (1-7), which trailed 27-10 at halftime, was paced by Kiersten Shrader with 10 points. The Spartans will play county rival Narrows in Saturday’s girls consolation game at noon.
